Syllables of Ritual was commissioned by Peril magazine for the 2017 Queensland Poetry Festival. Written, devised and performed by Nithya Iyer and Luna Mrozik-Gawler, the work explores relationships to ritual, spirituality and faith in contemporary culture. Drawing from the personal, local and global, the 30-minute work uses spoken, embodied and abstracted forms of poetry.
